Basics of SAP development
week 1
To get you started, you will receive an introduction to the world of SAP and its system architecture. You will familiarize yourself with the most important development tools such as the ABAP Workbench and Eclipse and learn the basic concepts of software development so that you can develop your first program.
week 2
Report development and ABAP Dictionary
week 2
In the second week, the focus is on the implementation of reports. You will deal intensively with loops, branching and receive an introduction to the ABAP Dictionary. This will enable you to expand your practical implementation skills.
week 3
Modularization and data processing
week 3
This week is all about the reusability of your code. You will learn how developments can be structured efficiently through modularization. You will also work with internal tables and SQL commands to manage and retrieve data effectively.
week 4
Object-oriented development with ABAP Objects
week 4
In week four, you will immerse yourself in object-oriented programming with ABAP Objects. You will learn the basics of classes, methods and inheritance and put them into practice in hands-on exercises to get to know the advantages of object-oriented development.
week 5
SAP GUI development and locking concept
week 5
You will deal with the user interface in SAP, develop interfaces with SAP GUI and deal with logging using the application log. You will also become familiar with the SAP locking concept, which is essential for the synchronization of data.
week 6
Introduction to logistics and mobile applications

In order to be able to develop efficient solutions for our customers, not only sound programming skills are required, but also an in-depth understanding of logistics processes. This is why we provide a comprehensive introduction to the basic concepts of logistics and transportation, supplemented by practical training on mobile applications and RF technologies (ITS).
week 7
Warehouse processes from goods receipt to goods issue
week 7
This week focuses on the processes within a warehouse in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM). You will get a comprehensive overview of the material flow - from goods receipt to goods issue - and gain an insight into practical scenarios.
week 8
SAP EWM - Enhancements and Customizing
week 8
Finally, you will receive a more in-depth introduction to SAP EWM. You will get to know the warehouse management monitor and learn how you can implement individual enhancements through targeted customizing and development.
