So that we can show you our passion as authentically and honestly as possible, we have developed a new video series: Logistics@IGZ. This allows you to get an idea of our different professional fields and teams, our way of working and the IGZ corporate culture.
The various videos provide an overview of the different logistics professions and opportunities in our company: from logistics planning and modernization, general contractor, control technology and support specialist to software development. Each video not only presents a professional field and the respective tasks, but also provides deeper insights into the working atmosphere and cooperation within the respective team. Instead of just explaining the logistics professions, we let our colleagues speak for themselves to give you a realistic insight into working life with us.

A success story for over 25 years: Our colleague Stefan is the first IGZ employee and therefore predestined for our Logistics@IGZ series. He takes you into the world of SAP EWM and explains what IGZ has to do with it. Find out how our experts work as a team to develop customized software solutions for well-known customers and stay one step ahead of the competition.

We are control technology!
From wrenches to laptops - at our site in Erbendorf, our passion mainly revolves around PLCs. PLC control is the link between the electrical signal of a light barrier and the network communication with the IT systems, for example with our SAP EWM. Our colleague Achim explains to you what is moved by the work in control technology at our customers.

We are a general contractor!
Welcome to the construction site - but before that, it's time to select logistics equipment such as storage and retrieval machines, steel construction and conveyor technology. As a general contractor, we coordinate all construction processes and work with our colleagues to ensure that the finished logistics system has an intelligent brain using software. Our colleague Vroni from the general contractor division will take you to the construction site and show you her field of activity.

Well thought-out planning forms the foundation for every successful logistics project. Our experts plan logistics systems for our customers with a focus on automation and optimization of the material flow. In doing so, they always take economic efficiency into account. Our goal in logistics planning is efficient system design with the corresponding seamless integration of software processes. This ensures that our customers' systems continue to function optimally in the long term. Our colleague Lukas tells you what is important in logistics planning and how the finished planning leads to a tailor-made, future-proof combination of software and logistics system.

We are logistics modernization!
Control system modernization, safety technology upgrades and mechanical conversions - these are all part of logistics modernization. Also known as retrofitting. The experts inspect every system down to the last light barrier and develop various concepts with the aim of making the system fit for the future again. Our colleague Julius gives you an insight into the area of logistics modernization and explains how important an individual modernization concept is.

Do you think it ends after the project is completed? Sebastian and his team are there to support our customers even after the project has been completed. They are always available to answer any questions about software and control systems. This availability and direct contact with one of our IGZ experts on site is what sets us apart. And this once again shows just how extensive our Tech & Development division is.
