The path to your future
Our structured trainee program guides you step by step into your new role. Here is an overview of what you can expect in the first few weeks:
In your first week, you will get to know IGZ and our IT and training systems. You will receive an introduction to SAP and our learning system as well as a safety briefing.
The second week is all about our project and test methodology. You will learn how our projects are structured and successfully implemented. You will deal with our IGZ project and test methodology as well as basic logistical processes.
You will immerse yourself in the world of SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and get to know the basic functions and structures of this module. In addition to the internal EWM100 courses, you will also carry out your first practical exercises. The second internal SAP EWM training course (EWM110) will deepen your knowledge of warehouse management and control. Here too, you will carry out practical exercises directly in the SAP system in order to apply the knowledge you have learned.
You will get to know the IDES training system and receive an introduction to system coupling. You will also be introduced to our project areas and current projects.
The next EWM training course is scheduled for this week. You will deepen your knowledge and become familiar with more complex processes. You will deal with important developer tools, debugging methods and performance analyses. You will be introduced to the practical use of SE80, BAdI and other tools and will be introduced to ergonomic interfaces for project planning.
In addition to technical training, communication in the project environment is also important - you will receive training on the communication manual and work with MS Project. This will prepare you for the development of projects and an understanding of efficient project planning.
From this week onwards, you will be actively involved in advising and supporting our customers and gradually take on responsibility. You will accompany your IGZ mentor to your first customer appointments, take on tasks and can apply your existing knowledge directly. You will receive continuous feedback and support to further develop your skills and gain valuable practical experience.

Your everyday work
Consulting is mainly provided to customers on site. You will focus on the SAP standard, which you can ideally adapt to customer requirements without programming. This means you will be in direct contact with customers to find solutions that perfectly match their requirements.
A certain understanding of technology is an advantage! Since you will be working closely with logistics processes, it is important to understand them in detail. You will also work with various systems—one of the most important being SAP, which plays a central role in your daily work and supports you in coordinating processes.
But don't worry: you will be introduced to the technology and systems step by step and will receive all the knowledge you need to get started successfully.
